Squared Circle Training presents: BLOOD, SWEAT & EARS: The Adrenaline Cup Norval (Georgetown), Ontario Nashville North On Sunday, September 25th, Squared Circle presented BLOOD, SWEAT and EARS III in Norval, Ontario. The card featured Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Johnny Devine, James Champagne, and Ash was crowned as the first Adrenaline Cup champion.
RESULTS:
1) Adrenaline Cup - First Round Anton Arakis vs. Ash Winner: Ash 2) Adrenaline Cup - First Round Tarantula Gomez w/Anton Arakis vs. Sombra Winner: Tarantula Gomez 3) Adrenaline Cup - First Round "Unreal" Michael Elgin vs. Kobra Kai Winner: Kobra Kai 4) Adrenaline Cup - First Round Otis Idol vs. Cody Steele Winner: Cody Steele The Champagne Room James Champagne kicked off his first show with NWA/TNA Star, Alex Shelley. After belittling and barely letting Alex Shelley talk, James had heard enough and decided to get a head start on their match for later in the night. James' doormen held Shelley during the attack. Johnny Devine ran in to aid Shelley against his attackers. In all the commotion James managed to sneak out the back door, away from the melee. 5) The Blackouts & Tiana vs. The Suicide Kids & Shantelle Winners: The Suicide Kids & Shantelle 6) Adrenaline Cup - Fatal Four Way Finals Kobra Kai vs. Ash vs. Cody Steele vs. Tarantula Gomez An amazing show by all four competitors, vying for the Adrenaline Cup. After a multitude of outside action, Ash was able to single out Tarantula Gomez in the center of the ring. Ash hit the elevated DDT finisher to Gomez for the three-count. Winner: and 2005 Adrenaline Cup Champion: Ash 7) Chris Sabin vs. 'Hotshot' Johnny Devine After a distraction by James Champagne, and with the help of nunchucks, Chris Sabin got the upper hand (underhandedly) on Johnny Devine, and laid him out with Champagne's nunchucks. Winner: Chris Sabin 8) James Champagne vs. Alex Shelley After having sufficient time to recover from his encounter in the Champagne Room, Alex Shelley went after James Champagne with a copious amount of attacks. While Champagne offered up his own offence, he managed to knock out the referee. In the end Chris Sabin ran out and landed his finishing move on Alex Shelley and placed James on top of Shelley. When the ref gathered himself, only a two-count was administered. With the referee still without his bearings, Johnny Devine ran in to dispose of Sabin and get his shots in on Champagne. Shelley hit his finisher on James Champagne just as the ref was able to bring himself to make the three-count. Winner: Alex Shelley
